PADI Deep Diver Course
The PADI Deep Diver specialty course is the ideal introduction to deep diving. You will learn the necessary knowledge, techniques, and safety procedures to participate in deep dives safely.
In many diving destinations, popular dives are considered deep dives exceeding 25 meters – especially where large, well-preserved wrecks are located.
Your PADI Deep Diver certification opens the door to these challenging dive sites. Upon successful completion of the specialty course, you are authorized to participate in guided deep dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters.
Theory Topics:
In the PADI Deep Diver specialty course, you will learn how to plan and prepare deep dives between 18 m and 40 m correctly, including using and monitoring safety equipment, gas management, and various safety procedures.
During the practical dives, you will practice maintaining stable buoyancy at depth, staying in contact with your buddy, and responding to changing conditions such as increased air consumption, nitrogen narcosis, and light effects. You will also learn how to perform deep stops and safety stops and act appropriately in emergencies.
These practical exercises will give you the confidence and skills needed to safely explore challenging dive sites, including wrecks, walls, and other deep-water attractions.
