PADI Enriched Air Diver Course
Recreational dives are limited by nitrogen absorption in our tissues (so-called no-decompression dives). By replacing part of the nitrogen with oxygen in your tanks, you can significantly extend your no-decompression limits. With enriched air – Enriched Air Nitrox – you can dive longer within your no-decompression limits at the same depth compared to regular compressed air.
Especially on repetitive dives and at greater depths, you benefit from increased safety margins due to reduced nitrogen absorption, allowing longer bottom times.
Completion of the PADI Enriched Air Diver course authorizes you to use compressed air tanks enriched with oxygen up to 40% (EANx40).

Theory Topics:
In the PADI Enriched Air Diver course, you will learn how to safely dive with Nitrox, i.e., with a higher oxygen content than normal air. You will understand how Nitrox affects your dive time, decompression planning, and safety, and how it provides longer bottom times.
The course teaches practical skills for planning and conducting dives with Nitrox, including calculating maximum depth, checking gas mixtures, and managing dive computers. You will gain the skills necessary to make your dives more efficient and safer.
After completing the course, you are authorized to dive with Nitrox mixtures up to 40% oxygen and make the most of your bottom times.
