PADI Rescue Diver Course
The PADI Rescue Diver course is a crucial step in expanding a diver’s knowledge and experience. As a Rescue Diver, you learn to focus beyond yourself and prioritize the safety and well-being of other divers.
Rescue Diver training enhances your skills in problem prevention and emergency management. For this reason, the PADI Rescue Diver certification is a prerequisite for all professional PADI leadership courses (Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, and Open Water Scuba Instructor).
Theory Topics:
In the PADI Rescue Diver course, you will learn to recognize and prevent problems before they become emergencies. You will develop a higher level of awareness and responsibility as a diver. You will also train to handle stress and respond appropriately to exhausted, stressed, or panicked divers. This includes effective rescue techniques at the surface and underwater, including assisting and recovering divers in distress.
